Hi,

Welcome to my site. I am still in the process of building this site. The site is built from the ground up using C#, ASP.NET, AJAX and MSSQL 2005. Content momentarely is pure technical. I will write some other articles in the future, but for now this is what it is.

From time to time I'll be publishing new features.

Images are now in a separate Directory. Before, all the Images were uploaded each time the website was published. This was of course now preferable. Now I can separatly upload the images and then 'rescan' the images from an 'admin' tab (only visible to admins of course).

Google map with dynamic Overlay

Wow, It works. I've now added a dynamic overlay to the Google Map. It's not such a nice overlay I've loaded but it's only for testing purposes. What you see is a trip I made from my home to Zürich. Walking to the Station in Wil and then with the Train to Zürich. In the Train the GPS sometimes didn't find any satelites so it couldn't log anything.

Opera support

Just added a stylesheet for Opera. Tested it with Opera 9.5. Just discovered FCKEditor doesn't work in Opera either.

Today read in the NRC (Dutch Paper) that Guus Hidding got a Statue at the Krim in Russia. He got it for his contribution to Russian Socker. Way to go Guus.

New Version uploaded

Today rebuild part of the Website.

The SlideShow and WebLog are now Web User Controls. This means I can place them anywhere on the site.
The Main Page now has a Matrix 5 Rows and 5 Cells per row which can contain Controls. They are loaded at startup automatically. That makes it all much more flexibel.

Still have a Refresh problem I can't tackle. Each time a Link is added to the Mainpage a Refresh is taking place an all the content is gone. That's why there are no link (yet) on the Mainpage. I f.i. programmed the Slideshow to be clickable. A click would have brought you to the bigger slide show.

The TabContainer still has some bugs. I couldn't for instance set the ActiveTabIndex and have the Page change to that tab. Found an article about that and a solution. You'll find it here forums.asp.net/p/1069846/1557776.aspx.
